Willard Residential College is one of Northwestern University’s greatest assets. With 293 residents, the dorm at 1865 Sherman Avenue has produced campus leaders ranging from political activists to ASG Presidents, and notable alumni like David Schwimmer, Stephen Colbert, Shelly Long, Charles Busch and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

There’s always something going on in the Hall at the end of the Sorority Quad. Between major annual events like the Willard Formal, Polka Party, and the internationally infamous Frances Willard Party (now banned, sorry), talent shows, dances, parties, firesides, and assorted craziness, Willard sure works hard to keep the campus on its toes. So be our guest and take a short tour of Willard’s history, facilities, and famous faces.  But please be duly warned: There’s no way to fully understand Willard Residential College without experiencing it for yourself.
